Mini Minutes  December 6, 2010

·         Newly elected board members Russ Black, Wanda Cavinder, Pam Kilgard, and Anne Riley were welcomed to the Board;

·         Judy Drejer was appointed to the unexpired term of Sharon Sabla who remains on leave of absence from the board;

·         November sectional was down 70 tables due to no Friday morning game and change of Sunday game from “free” to “half price”.  Recent tournaments around the area have been down in similar percentages;

·         Nico Sneider reports that the 2012 THaute sectional has been sectioned.  We are working with the district tournament chair to resolve conflicts for 2011 and 2013;

·         Winter Sectional will take place March 4-6 at the Indy West Conference Center.  Liz Brown and Ingrid Toschlog are coordinating the event;

·         The Summer Regional will take place June 13-18^th at the Indy West Conference Center.  The Sunday Board a Match game (19^th) will take place at the Indianapolis Bridge Center.  Maribeth Ransel and Brad Bartol are coordinating.  Several “Gold  Rush” events have been added to encourage NLMs in their quest for gold;

·         Nationals – Volunteers – Volunteers are still needed to help CIBA man several positions at the Nationals on March 17^th and 18^th in Louisville.  Please contact Joyce Brandt or Ingrid Toschlog if you can help;

·         Officers were elected for the 2010/11 board year.  They are Maribeth Ransel, President and Liz Brown, Vice President;

·         Next meeting:  Monday, February 7^th at 6:30 PM at the Indianapolis Bridge Center;
